The flotilla will hold the following Public Education Classes in 2003:

2 Boating Skills & Seamanship courses

1 Basic Coastal Navigation course

2 Boating Safely courses

The Boating Skills and Seamanship courses will be held in 2 sessions, spring and fall. The dates for each session are as follows:

Spring BS&S Cost $ 40.00

Each Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-9 PM beginning

Tuesday, March 18, 2003 and ending on Thursday, April 24, 2003

Fall BS&S Cost $ 40.00 (?)

Each Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-9 PM beginning

Tuesday, September 2, 2003 and ending on Thursday, October 9, 2003

The Basic Coastal Navigation class (Cost $ 50.00) will be held

Each Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-9 PM beginning

Tuesday, October 28, 2003 and ending on Thursday, November 13, 2003

The dates of the Boating Safely Classes are still being determined (Cost $20.00)

This year ALL classes will be held at the University of Georgia’s Marine Extension

Building on Bay St. in Brunswick so that we can take advantage of the new A/V equipment there.

A syllabus will be provided to all instructors 4 weeks prior to the beginning of each course.
